Adamın biri, bir gün ağacın altında namaz kılıyormuş. Ağaçta bulunan başka biri de onu izliyormuş. Namazını bitiren adam daha sonra namazının kabul olması için Allah'a dua etmeye başlamış.

- Allahım sen namazımı kabul et.

Ağaçtaki adam: - Etmem, diye cevap vermiş.

Adam şaşırmış. Tekrarlamış: - "Allahım sen kıldığım namazı kabul et."

- Etmem.
Adamın şaşkınlığı iyice artmış.
Yine: - "Allahım sen namazımı kabul et", demiş.

Ağaçtaki adam tekrar: - "Etmem", deyince ,

adam sinirlenmiş. - "Etmezsen etme. Zaten abdestsiz kılmıştım."
