Cenaze

Omuzlanınca tabutun
Ilk defa kurtuldu ayakların topraktan
Muhteşem oldu medreseden çıkışın

Dikildiler yol üstüne
Bir dilim ekmeği çok görenler
Yüzüne bakmıyanlar sağlığında
Bir selamla ödediler bütün borçlarını

Üzülme gelmiyor diye çelenkler peşinden
Mevsimsiz oldu ölümün
Ne olurdu bir kış daha bekleseydin
Bahar gelir çiçekler açardı

Ölümün kimseyi sevindirmedi
Atsız arabasız kalktı cenazen
Alçak gönüllü adamdın
Herkesten uzak yaşadın
Cami avlusunda
Ölümün de gürültüsüz olsun
