Ölümü Bayram Sandım

I.
Kötülükleri tanımadan önce
Seni melek sanmıştım;
Işıl ışıl yanan
Aydın,
Apaydın bir insan.

II.
Insandık
Sevda çekerdik
Acılar içerisinde,
Inandık,
uzun bir süre
meleklere
ezile ezile.

III.
Kötülükleri görünce
Ölümü bayram sandım.
Özlemle bekledim
Bir bayram hediyesi gibi.
Gelmedi,
yolu şaşırmıştı,
Dolaşıyordu sinsi sinsi.

IV.
Yanı başımda gelinim sandım.
Inandık,
Acılar içinde
Melek yüzlü güzele
uzun süre.

V.
Ölüm korkusunda
Gözlerin kızıl,
Gözbebeklerin
simsiyah.
Gözlerinde okudum
ölümü sevdalım.
Sonunda anladım:
Artık ölüm bile yetmiyor!
