Aldanma Cahilin Kuru Lafına

Aldanma cahilin kuru lafına
Kültürsüz insanın kulu yalandır
Hükmetse dünyanın her tarafına
Arzusu hedefi yolu yalandır

Kar suyundan süzen ceşme göl olmaz
Gül dikende biter diken gül olmaz
Diz diz eden her sineğin bal'olmaz
Peteksiz arının balı yalandır

Insan bir deryadır ilimle mahir
Ilimsiz insanın şöhreti zahir
Cahilden iyilik beklenmez ahir
Işleği ameli hali yalandır

Cahil okur amma alim olamaz
Kamilik ilmini herkes bilemez
Veysel bu sözlerin halka yaramaz
Sonra sana derler deli yalandır
